The Appennino Chair, handcrafted in iron, interprets an interior as a landscape. The irregular curves of its backrest recall the outlines of rolling hills and, when placed alongside other chairs around any table, create a composition of distinct silhouettes. The iron rod is bent by hand without an internal core, while the seat is cut along freehand lines, without templates, and polished to achieve a finish between matte and glossy. Each chair takes shape through the artisan’s gestures rather than a predetermined technical drawing. Subtle imperfections and variations in proportion make every piece one of a kind.
