Iron Sofa
14 890,00 €
The Iron Sofa was born from the challenge of making a hard, angular material feel inviting. Metal sheets reclaimed from a disused metal factory in Abbiategrasso are worked almost like a skin wrapping around the structure, with softened corners and clean lines. Sheets of paper left between the metal plates during years of abandonment created marks resembling handwritten traces, impossible to reproduce exactly. Polyester velvet adds softness, while the feet are made from an IPE steel beam reclaimed during the demolition of an apartment in Milan.
