The Politecnico Chair originates from the recovery of old drawing stools once used in classrooms. During his studies at the Politecnico di Milano, Pietro saved more than a hundred of them from being discarded. Their original frames have been reinterpreted with seats and backrests made from reclaimed scaffolding boards, connected by flat iron bars recovered from gates and railings. The backrests may be round, square or rectangular. Each chair preserves the memory of its original structure and the distinctive traces of the materials used.
